The mission of Wild Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Program is to enrich the lives of
our participants and all who work with us through equine assisted activities.
Wild Hearts is a NARHA Member Center
Our Vision:
To offer therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, equine facilitated psychotherapy, and a Horses for Heroes program, year round, to children, adults, and military veterans with physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral and/or social challenges.

Volunteer Spotlight: Karen Laude
Wild Hearts volunteer, Karen Laude, was featured in Blaze Magazine - a magazine for horse crazy kids! Karen is an extremely talented toy designer who has worked for toy companies like Mattel, Hasbro and Fisher-Price. Karen's newest project is creating toys for use in therapy programs for riders with special needs - like Wild Hearts. We're so excited for the opportunity to work with Karen and to have input into her design process! Wild Hearts is lucky to have volunteers like Karen!

Your generous donations at work...
Thanks to generous donations made to Wild Hearts we were able to cover a full year of insurance, NARHA center membership, as well as purchase new instructional aids such as those found on Freedomrider.com. We were also able to purchase 4-step mounting stairs - an important tool to help our riders mount independently. From the bottom of our Wild Hearts, THANK YOU!!!

We're excited to announce our newest location - Dorbill Stables in Bridgewater, MA! Thanks to a generous offer by barn owners Patty, Harry, and Lynne to use their gorgeous facility and wonderful ponies, Wild Hearts is offering lessons there on Monday afternoons and evenings! For more information about lessons or volunteering, please contact Julie Lovely at 978-578-4438.
Chris Cook Korben, L.I.C.S.W., owner of the Korben School of Holistic Horsemandship at Heart's Desire Stable has generously offered to hold an Equine Assisted Wellness/Personal Growth Workshop to benefit the start up of Wild Hearts' Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program.
