Healing with Horses

​

Our Trauma Informed Healing with Horses program is limited to 4 participants and is designed to address post traumatic stress experienced by Military Veterans and First Responders.

​

Healing with Horses is facilitated by an Equine Professional and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. We follow the principles of Natural Lifemanship®, an approach to Equine Assisted Services based on the science of relationships. We believe that healthy, connected relationships are the key to healing from trauma. The program is entirely unmounted and requires no prior horse experience.

The program is limited to 6 participants each session and we ask that participants make every effort to commit to the full 8-week program as we usually have a waiting list.

2024 Sessions:

 

Spring
Tuesday mornings from 10AM - 12PM, beginning April 30th and ending June 18th.

 

Friday mornings from 10AM - 12PM, beginning May 3rd and ending June 21st.

Fall
Tuesday mornings from 10AM - 12PM, beginning September 3rd and ending October 22nd.

​

Friday mornings from 10AM - 12PM, beginning September 6th and ending October 25th.
